THESIS PROJECT: Greener Day Toys
INTRODUCTION: 
My thesis project consisted of a media assets created for a fictitious eco-friendly toy company Greener Day Toys. The objective was to conduct extensive research and compile resources such as images, textures, shapes, colors, and etcetera that reflect the brand being created for the toy company. Then, create a Playbook, and other media assets that would express a lot cohesive look and feel for the selected brand. 
DESIGN CHALLENGE: Logo Concepts
30 thumbnail sketches were created in search of the perfect visuals that would not only be visually appealing but also become a memorable reflection of the overall look and feel of Greener Day Toys. 
DESIGN CHALLENGE: Top 6 + Logo Revisions

Top 6 concepts were reworked several times to present the strongest version of each. 
DESIGN CHALLENGE: Final Logo
Selected logo design that best represents Greener Day Toys overall vision and mission.
DESIGN CHALLENGE: Vision Board
When developing the Vision Board, the designer made some adjustments to the logo and previously selected typefaces.
After consulting with the team, it was decided to modify the previously selected Zapfino sub-header and replace it with Brillotus. The Brillotus font family had heavier ascenders and descenders which improved overall readability. Outlines were removed from the logo to help reduce the cost in printing, and also made a cleaner more visually appealing logo. The centermost part of the tree stump was shifted to the left, and textured lines were added to the stump. Next the size of the word "Toys" was drastically increased and shifted closer to the center to make a more cohesive design. Lastly, color were removed from the text for a die-cut logo, which would allow the color of the material its printed on to show through. 
DESIGN CHALLENGE: Revised Final Logo
Outlines were removed, supporting typeface was modified, center of tree stump was shifted, and lines were added to the tree stump.

(L) Is a promotional image for Instagram to be posted in a story or on the company's feed (R) Is an introductory banner ad for facebook. Both include shape, colors, and lines that represent the brand as well as include Greener Day Toy's tagline, "Building a new tomorrow..."

Greener Day Toy's tagline, "Building a new tomorrow..." is intentionally followed by ellipsis to allow the brand to use creative phases in their marketing while always staying true to the brand.
